Egg Socks

Project from last semester's Video 1 class, based on a Dorothy Parker poem, Resume:

Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.

I couldn't play a video about suicide straight, so this is what happened.

Caricature Homework

Part of my homework for Drawing for Animation class, in which we had to do caricatures of the model.

The top one was a little strange. I couldn't tell if the model was going for suprised or operatic. I decided to just go with slightly dumbfounded.

Yojimbo

Some sketches for an illustration project in which I had to design a poster for the Kurosawa movie Yojimbo. They started as studies to get Toshiro Mifune's likeness, but soon turned into fun little doodles of him with a brush pen to help me decide on a pose to use.
